Durant grabbed three rebounds and had three assists, accumulating a plus-minus of -6 in his 34:58 on the floor. He added two blocks and one steal. Durant went 2 of 5 from 3-point range.
Nov. 14 10:11 PM PT11:11 PM MT12:11 AM CT1:11 AM ET6:11 GMT14:11 11:11 PM MST1:11 AM EST10:11 UAE07:111:11 ET12:11 AM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 21 points Monday on 9-of-18 shooting as the Golden State Warriors topped the Orlando Magic 110-100. Durant pulled down seven rebounds and dished out eight assists, tallying a plus-minus of +11 in his 30:20 on the floor.
Analysis: Tied for second in the league with 29 blocks, Durant didn't have any for only the second time this season. That's really nit-picking, however, for a player who's scored 20 or more points in 12 of his first 13 games, has grabbed seven or more rebounds in five of his last six and is adding a very solid 5.2 assists per outing.
Nov. 8 9:58 AM PT10:58 AM MT11:58 AM CT12:58 PM ET17:58 GMT1:58 10:58 AM MST12:58 PM EST21:58 UAE18:5812:58 ET11:58 AM CTNaN: - Durant (left thigh contusion) returned from a one-game absence and scored 29 points Saturday, going 11 of 18 from the field, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 135-114. Durant pulled down five rebounds and dished out four assists, tallying a plus-minus of +24 in his 28:03 of playing time. He added two blocks and two steals. Durant went 3 of 6 from 3-point range.
Analysis: This should ease any concerns owners may have had about their prized forward's injury. Durant players can expect his usual 25 points with above-average totals in rebounds, assists and blocks going forward. He still trails only Rudy Gobert in that last category with an outstanding 29 rejections through 12 games.
Nov. 7 11:29 PM PT12:29 AM MT1:29 AM CT2:29 AM ET7:29 GMT15:29 12:29 AM MST2:29 AM EST11:29 UAE08:292:29 ET1:29 AM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 21 points Monday, going 5 of 13 from the field, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Miami Heat 97-80. Durant grabbed eight rebounds and had six assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +23 in his 32:35 of playing time. He added three blocks and one steal. Durant went 1 of 6 from 3-point range.
Analysis: Durant was able to hit the 20-point mark for the 10th time in 11 games by going 10 of 10 from the foul line. Though this was his worst shooting performance of the season, the four-time scoring champ once again stuffed the stat sheet with strong numbers in supporting categories. The league's unexpected early leader with 27 blocks, he's now recorded eight rejections over his last three games.
Nov. 5 10:53 PM PT11:53 PM MT12:53 AM CT1:53 AM ET6:53 GMT14:53 11:53 PM MST1:53 AM EST10:53 UAE07:531:53 ET12:53 AM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 25 points Saturday, going 9 of 13 from the field, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Denver Nuggets 127-108. Durant pulled down seven rebounds and had seven assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +25 in his 29:11 on the floor. He added two blocks. Durant went 4 of 8 from 3-point range.
Analysis: While 25 points a night is practically a given with Durant, he continues to enhance an already elite fantasy profile by steadily increasing his 3-point and block totals. The reigning NBA Finals MVP is averaging 3.1 makes from beyond the arc and 2.4 rejections per game thus far, both of which would rate as career bests.
Nov. 2 8:35 PM PT9:35 PM MT10:35 PM CT11:35 PM ET3:35 GMT11:35 8:35 PM MST10:35 PM EST7:35 UAE (+1)04:3523:35 ET9:35 PM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 24 points Thursday, as the Golden State Warriors topped the San Antonio Spurs 112-92. Durant grabbed eight rebounds and dished out five assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +14 in his 34:41 on the floor. He added three blocks. Durant went 2 of 4 from 3-point range.
Analysis: Durant was 9 of 18 from the field after beginning the game 0 of 8 from the floor.
Oct. 31 8:21 AM PT9:21 AM MT10:21 AM CT11:21 AM ET15:21 GMT23:21 8:21 AM MST10:21 AM EST19:21 UAE16:2111:21 ET9:21 AM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 19 points Monday, going 7 of 11 from the field, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 141-113. Durant grabbed seven rebounds and dished out four assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +18 in his 29:19 on the floor. Durant went 2 of 3 from behind the arc.
Analysis: Durant saw his streak of consecutive 20-point games to start the season end at seven after scoring 19 on Monday. That was partly because he had his fewest minutes of the season in the blowout.
Oct. 30 8:25 AM PT9:25 AM MT10:25 AM CT11:25 AM ET15:25 GMT23:25 8:25 AM MST10:25 AM EST19:25 UAE16:2511:25 ET9:25 AM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 28 points Sunday, going 10 of 14 from the field, as the Golden State Warriors fell to the Detroit Pistons 115-107. Durant grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists, tallying a plus-minus of +11 in his 36:11 of playing time. He added two blocks. Durant went 3 of 7 from 3-point range.
Analysis: Since totaling 42 points in his first two games, Durant is averaging 28.4 points while hitting 18 of 37 from 3-point range. He's also put up 8.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game over that stretch.
Oct. 28 9:55 PM PT10:55 PM MT11:55 PM CT12:55 AM ET4:55 GMT12:55 9:55 PM MST11:55 PM EST8:55 UAE06:550:55 ET11:55 PM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 31 points Friday on 9-of-20 shooting as the Golden State Warriors topped the Washington Wizards 120-117. Durant pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out six assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +4 in his 38:45 on the floor. He added two blocks and one steal. Durant went 4 of 9 from 3-point range.
Analysis: Durant hit the 30-point mark for the first time this season and notched his second double-double. KD also tied a season high with four 3-pointers. There are no concerns with Durant's game right now and those 30-point efforts likely will become more common now.
Oct. 26 8:18 AM PT9:18 AM MT10:18 AM CT11:18 AM ET15:18 GMT23:18 8:18 AM MST10:18 AM EST19:18 UAE17:1811:18 ET10:18 AM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 29 points Wednesday on 11-of-20 shooting as the Golden State Warriors topped the Toronto Raptors 117-112. Durant pulled down four rebounds and dished out five assists, tallying a plus-minus of +7 in his 38:03 of playing time. He added one steal. Durant went 3 of 6 from 3-point range.
Analysis: Durant is off to a fabulously efficient start to the season, shooting 16 of 32 from 3-point range.
Oct. 24 6:54 AM PT7:54 AM MT8:54 AM CT9:54 AM ET13:54 GMT21:54 6:54 AM MST8:54 AM EST17:54 UAE15:549:54 ET8:54 AM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 25 points Monday, going 9 of 15 from the field, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Dallas Mavericks 133-103. Durant grabbed eight rebounds and had six assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +25 in his 33:16 on the floor. He added one block. Durant went 4 of 6 from behind the arc.
Analysis: Durant's 3-point shooting has been excellent early on this season. He's hitting 50 percent from beyond the arc.
Oct. 21 7:50 AM PT8:50 AM MT9:50 AM CT10:50 AM ET14:50 GMT22:50 7:50 AM MST9:50 AM EST18:50 UAE16:5010:50 ET9:50 AM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 23 points Friday on 9-of-18 shooting as the Golden State Warriors defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 128-120. Durant grabbed eight rebounds and dished out two assists, tallying a plus-minus of +5 in his 37:40 on the floor. He added four blocks. Durant went 4 of 7 from behind the arc.
Analysis: Durant has been filling up a different stat category this season - blocks. He has four in each of the first two games, though that only partly makes up for what has been a fairly quiet start offensively for the superstar.
Oct. 21 8:30 PM PT9:30 PM MT10:30 PM CT11:30 PM ET3:30 GMT11:30 8:30 PM MST10:30 PM EST7:30 UAE (+1)05:3023:30 ET10:30 PM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 29 points Saturday, going 11 of 24 from the field, as the Golden State Warriors fell to the Memphis Grizzlies 111-101. Durant pulled down 13 rebounds and dished out three assists, tallying a plus-minus of -2 in his 40:03 on the floor. He added three blocks and one steal. Durant went 4 of 9 from behind the arc.
Analysis: Durant and Stephen Curry were ejected with 43 seconds left. Curry scored on a layup and thought he was fouled on the play. He threw his mouthpiece along the baseline, leading to immediate ejection. With Curry headed out, Durant also was arguing and crew chief Brian Forte sent him to the locker room. As Durant was walking out along the sidelines, the Memphis fans taunted him and screen shots of the broadcast showed him with an extended middle finger.
Oct. 18 10:45 PM PT11:45 PM MT12:45 AM CT1:45 AM ET5:45 GMT13:45 10:45 PM MST12:45 AM EST9:45 UAE07:451:45 ET12:45 AM CTNaN: - Kevin Durant scored 20 points Tuesday on 7-of-15 shooting as the Golden State Warriors lost to the Houston Rockets 122-121. Durant grabbed five rebounds and had seven assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +8 in his 37:38 on the floor. He added four blocks. Durant went 2 of 5 from behind the arc.
Analysis: Durant would have had two more, but his potential game-winning baseline jumper was ruled to have come just after the final buzzer sounded. The four-time scoring champion also had eight turnovers in what should be considered a slightly disappointing season debut by his standards.
July 3 3:20 PM PT4:20 PM MT5:20 PM CT6:20 PM ET22:20 GMT6:20 3:20 PM MST5:20 PM EST2:20 UAE (+1)00:2018:20 ET5:20 PM CTNaN: - Durant has agreed to terms on a two-year deal worth about $53 million to remain with the Golden State Warriors.
Analysis: The deal calls for about $25 million in the first year with a player option for the second season. It represents a significant giveback for the NBA Finals MVP, who could have signed a max deal that would have paid him millions more next season. The concession from Durant gave the Warriors enough room to lock up Steph Curry to a max contract and bring back Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston.
