White Sox option Santiago to Triple-A

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) The Chicago White Sox optioned reliever Hector Santiago to Triple-A Charlotte before Monday's game against the Minnesota Twins.
The move made room on the roster for Francisco Liriano, acquired by the White Sox in a trade with Minnesota on Saturday. Liriano is scheduled to start Tuesday against his former team.
Santiago was 2-1 with a 3.66 ERA and four saves in 32 appearances.
